A tandem skydive is one of the 'must do' things to take your breath away in Cape Town. Experience one of the best views in the world from altitude for a once-in-a-lifetime experience to see the Mother City sandwiched between Table Mountain and Table Bay harbour as well as Robben Island. Further south you will see the splendour of the Cape Peninsula and False Bay and to the north you will see Langebaan lagoon on the Cape West Coast.
Experience It:
A 40-minute drive north from Cape Town on the West Coast Road brings you to Skydive Cape Town where experienced Tandem Instructors will give you a ground briefing for 15 minutes and kit you up. On a tandem skydive jump, you are strapped to a Tandem Instructor with a special harness that's attached to a specially designed parachute large enough to support both of you. This way you will get the thrill of freefall without having to learn all the theory!
On the way up in the aircraft you will get breathtaking views of Cape Town in a 20 minute scenic aeroplane ride and then it's action time!
Exit the aircraft from 9,000ft and experience a 30-second freefall at approximately 120mph / 200kph freefall. The Tandem instructor will open the parachute at about 5,000ft and a peaceful 3-4 minute parachute ride to the ground follows.

- General good health
- Max weight for a tandem passenger is 105kg.
- Parental consent required for jumpers under the age of 18.
