The temperature inside the helicopter is similar to the outside temperature so the temperature can drop by 1 - 2°C the higher you go. A warm jacket is recommended.
We also suggest wearing dark clothes if you like taking photographs as these reflect less off the windows.
Flights:
- The Hopper: 12 minutes
Fly over Cape Town Stadium, Lions Head, the Beaches of Clifton, Camps Bay, Twelve Apostles and back to the waterfront with views of Table Mountain and the City Bowl.
- Atlantico: 18 minutes
Atlantic Coast Scenic Flight with views of Greenpoint, Cape Town Stadium, Clifton, Camps Bay, and the Twelve Apostles. Circle Karbonkelberg, seeing Seal Island off the Hout Bay Coastline and return to the Waterfront.
- Robben Island: 20 minutes
A Robben Island helicopter tour offers an unrivalled experience that lets you see this amazing island in a way unimaginable from the ground.
- Two Oceans: 24 minutes
Take off from the V&A Waterfront, fly over Atlantic Coast to Hout Bay as per "Atlantico", view Chapman's Peak Drive and turn inland towards False Bay. Head north to the city via Fish Hoek, Muizenberg, over the Constantia Winelands, Cricket & Rugby Stadiums to the Waterfront.
- Full Peninsula: 48 Minutes flying time.
Take the full trio from Cape Town to the Cape of Good Hope and see the peninsula from all angles before flying along the False Bay coastline back to Cape Town. Truly unforgettable!
