Dunes is situated on the beach, at the mouth of the Hout Bay river. Central to both the picturesque fishing harbour and the majestic, world famous Chapman’s Peak Drive. This easy going beach house has various terraces and balconies to soak up the most breathtaking views on the Cape peninsula.
Parents and children appreciate the play area, complete with jungle gym and swings, and can relax with the sand between their toes.

The restaurant has a number of 'sections' which are suitable to a wide range of styles, formality, theme and of course numbers. All are sea-facing leading on to their own terraces. Stretch tents can be used to create further extensions. Groupings start at +/- 20 and up to 450 pax.
Venue fees vary according to: exclusivity required, number of guests, space and season, day and time.

Bookings are recommended to secure a date & avoid disappointment (especially over busy periods) and we suggest considering all weather scenarios.
A 10% service fee is levied on the total food and beverage account. A discretionary service premium is charged on parties closing after midnight.

Traditional fish and chips. Hake caught and prepared in Hout Bay with a homemade beer batter. Served with tartare sauce.
