Theatresports:
Look out for the weekly Theatresports on Tuesday Evenings. Hilarious Improv comedy where, YOU, the audience, decides on the show you're going to see. Tickets only R60. Bookings: online bookings

Restaurant:

The restaurant is open from 6.00pm, we strongly suggest you arrive no later than 7pm. Diners have first option of theatre seating until 7:30pm.

Our intimate restaurant only seats 50 guests, so dinner booking is essential.

Due to the massive increase in popularity of our boutique restaurant, on full nights the buzz in the restaurant is wild. It is a fun, lively atmosphere, where the music is bopping and the energy is high. If you struggle with a lively ambiance, do phone and check before booking which nights are “less” full and you will have a calmer experience.

History of Kalk Bay Theatre

Kalk Bay theatre is housed within an old church building built in 1876 in the beautiful coastal village of Kalk Bay. It was once a Dutch Reformed Church that served the local community, but has been a local landmark ever since. Owners Simon & Helen had a vision and converted the building's interior to accommodate a 78 seater theatre & an upstairs gallery was installed which houses a 78 seater restaurant & bar area.
