Café Roux is a family run business, situated in Noordhoek Farm Village and is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and cakes. Café Roux is also open on various evenings for live music - Cafe Roux Sessions - showcasing South African music talent in an intimate setting. Booking is essential for these evenings.
Situated under the oak trees, en route to Chapman’s Peak Drive in beautiful Noordhoek, Café Roux is largely outdoor eating. It borders on a children’s playground and grass area, making it a family-friendly destination and the perfect place to sit outside in the sun for a glass of wine and a memorable meal.

A Bedouin tent spreads over the outdoor area in summer to provide extra shade – ideal for breakfasts or long lazy lunches. Easy to keep an eye on the kids playing on the lawn, in the playground or under the oak trees. In winter, the indoor restaurant area is cozy thanks to the real roaring fire.
Weekends are buzzing with a great atmosphere. Food portions are generous and can be described as seasonal with emphasis on fresh produce and great presentation – all cuisine is South African with a twist.

Enquire early for dates and line up some of the hottest South African bands, as well as up and coming bands and musicians who play regular live music in an intimate & personal setting.
For breakfast you can enjoy a wide offering of health breakfasts, smoothies, eggs Benedict and the famous Earls All Day breakfast.
The lunch menu is made up tasty salads, a variety of wraps and gourmet sandwiches and the well-known café Roux burgers.
You will always find something special on the daily chalk board: Linefish, soup & pasta of the day.
The wine list is simple and good value for money and you won’t be able to resist the TRUTH coffee to finish off.

- Eggs Benedict with bacon or salmon on a courgette-and-potato rosti
Tender calamari strips with peppadews, fresh coriander, rocket, bean sprouts & honey-mustard dressing
- café Roux burger – homemade patty with lettuce, tomato, gherkins, mature cheddar & mushroom OR gorgonzola sauce with French fries
- Vegetarian Shroom burger – crumbed field mushroom stuffed with brie with garlic mayo & gherkins served with French fries
