Great White Shark Diving (False Bay)

Great White Shark diving and viewing expeditions operating out of Simon's Town harbour on the Cape Peninsula.They are designed to not only show you some of the most spectacular behaviour seen anywhere in the animal kingdom, but also to educate you in all aspects of white shark behaviour seen at Seal Island. Seal Island has become world famous for its breaching great whites that hunt some of the 64,000 Cape Fur Seals that occur here.

PLEASE NOTE this excursion is seasonal and weather dependent.

Experience It
All boats and companies comply with all safety requirements and take 6 - 12 people- so all the trips have small groups to enhance your experience of seeing Great White Sharks in an uncrowded environment. The Crews are able to interact easily with guests and share their knowledge.

Great White Shark Morning Trip
The main focus of our tour is on a natural interaction with the sharks and we make our very best efforts to treat these animals with the respect they deserve and at the same time try to share our passion for these animals with you, our guest. The boat leaves at 07h00 sharp so best to be at Simon's Town pier by no later than 06h45.
Time: 07h00 - 11h30

Great White Shark Afternoon Trip
As with trips offered at Gansbaai, the sole focus of this afternoon trip is cage diving and surface viewing. Although you stand a chance of seeing the natural predation and breaching, this behaviour mostly takes place in the early morning so chances of viewing this are not as good as our morning excursion. The boat leaves at 11h30 so best to be at Simon's Town pier by no later than 11h15.

• 7 days before or less than 30 days before start date 50% of the fee
• 48 hours before the start date 100% of the fee

Please note that in the event of bad weather, all efforts will be made to re-route your shark cage diving experience to Gansbaai.
