Get up close and personal with the Southern Right Whales on our Whale Watching Boat trip departing from Simons' Town situated 40 minutes from Cape Town central. From July to November the Southern Right whales are plentiful in the bay and you can be assured of a sighting.
Experience It
We hold the sole permit for boat-based whale watching in the western half of the False Bay area from between Cape Point and Strandfontein. This area is sheltered from the open ocean, surrounded by stunning views and provides an ideal winter home for the Southern Right Whales. They visit each year between July and November to mate, calve, or simply to get away from the
Interacting with these gigantic & magnificent mammals (the size of 12 elephants) alongside our boat is an experience that will stay with you for the rest of your life. Be ready to photograph a Southern Right Whale breaching or giving you a friendly wave with its tail. Sightings of Bryde’s Whales, Humpback Whales, Dolphins and Orcas are also common.

We advise you to bring a sun hat, sun block, a warm jacket, and don’t forget your camera.
