Situated high on the slopes of the green Noodhoek Valley is Noordhoek Stone Cottage. We provide essential habitat for the endemic species the Western Leopard Toad and for other local flora and fauna.
But our relaxation credentials are even more important! With panoramic Atlantic Ocean and mountain views, a sweeping garden filled with sun birds and sugar birds, a natural rock pool for your swimming pleasure and an organic veggie garden, you will find the days slipping away as you tap into the slower rhythms of nature.
Accommodation
The luxurious Noordhoek Stone Cottage has the most spectacular of sea and mountain views. It comfortably sleeps 6 persons in 3 bedrooms.
- The Main Loft Bedroom: In the main loft-style bedroom with queen-size bed which is accessed by a spiral staircase. The romantic loft includes its own private lounge area.
- The Upstairs Bathroom: This romantic bathroom has a large free-standing bath and chandelier.
- The Main Bathroom: A generous bath with chandelier and mosaic detail. This cottage also has a private outside shower with hot water and stunning sea views.
- Downstairs Bedroom 1: The two downstairs bedrooms in this cottage have twin beds and share the downstairs bathroom.
- Downstairs Bedroom 2: The two downstairs bedrooms in this cottage have twin beds and share the downstairs bathroom. Gorgeous views of the Atlantic Ocean with French doors opening onto the deck.
Living AreaThe Kitchen: The cosy kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm. Medium fridge, oven and stove, microwave and all pots and pans.
Stone Mountain Cottage has a private entrance and parking for 2 cars as well as a private garden. Just behind the cottage is the most gorgeous outdoor shower with hot water and sea views.
The cottage comes standard with tea, coffee, sugar and milk and DSTV. A load of firewood is supplied with which to barbeque in the summer and to light the inside fire in winter (Electric blankets are also supplied in winter). Private entrance, barbeques and individual gardens ensure that you will always feel secluded.
Amenities
We nurture a large organic veggie garden from which you can pick your evening greens. We have a sparkling natural rock pool with a relaxation deck for your enjoyment. Giant chess board in the garden and new communal braai (BBQ) area.
The property has two exclusive cottages, situated privately on the property so you can book the 4-sleeper Noordhoek Pebble Cottage in conjunction with Stone Cottage for a larger group or gathering.
Noordhoek Stone Cottage is conveniently situated for you to visit all our local attractions. From penguins (Boulders Beach) to Ponies (sunset rides on Noodhoek Beach); from swimming to sailing; from exercise (golf courses, hiking trails) to eating (many fine restaurants nearby); you will always find that you will have too much to do and too little time.
