Laughter and music have, for a century, drawn visitors to the bar and the pub remains an intimate watering hole for locals and visitors alike. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Whether its conversation, music, backgammon, a game of pool, watching the game, or simply sipping on some of the planet’s finest beers, the Stoep and Swing has them all. Open daily until late.

So if you are bored of doing the same thing every weekend? Pop down to the Stoep and you could find yourself swinging to some music. The Stoep & Swing is available for birthdays and bachelor(ettes) hire as there is a sound system and a DJ who will play some ‘80’s or ‘90’smagic.

The Stoep & Swing is run by Gareth – a proud South African who wanted a place to chill out, drink beer, play table tennis, listen to music, chat to friends, look out over the wetlands and the beach.

They invite you relax into some fond memories, sip a brew, stare into the fireplace, dance with a stranger (or a friend) or just sit if that’s what you want to do.
