The 14th February is Valentine’s Day – traditionally a day for love and romance and red roses. These gifts are meant to be gestures of affection and receiving a big bunch of flowers is always appreciated, but when asking women what their expectations are of Valentine’s Day, the answers are almost unanimous, “It’s not about the gift. It’s about my partner thinking about something I really enjoy and making the effort to make it happen. It’s about being surprised. Then we spend happy quality time together and have fun.”
This Valentine’s Day- don’t ask Hallmark or other women, or other guys… check in with your beloved. We’ve come up with some romantic things to do on Valentine’s Day so we hope you find some inspiration for your celebration. Don’t forget if you are taking her out to dinner – make sure you’ve booked a table. See our restaurant suggestions for Valentine’s Date Night or other February specials for more ideas
