Sunset spots:
The sun sets on the Atlantic Seaboard and with a combination of mountain and sea as the backdrop and the view, you just can't get more romantic when trying to find a secluded romantic venue for sunset. Great locations include: Scarborough, Misty cliffs, Red Hill, Kommetjie, Noordhoek, Chapman's Peak Drive and Hout Bay.

The Cape Point Route is the perfect environment to enjoy relaxing spa treatments.  There are numerous practitioners who specialise in massage, aromatherapy, acupuncture, reflexology & body alignment.

Horse riding:
Experience breathtaking views of Chapman's Peak and Noordhoek Beach from horseback. Visit the Kakapo shipwreck and watch indigenous bird life on one of the Cape's most beautiful beaches.

Beaches:
Take a walk with a loved one and feel the romance inspired by the ocean. Long Beach in Noordhoek is a seemingly endless stretch of white sand ideal for a romantic stroll. Scarborough Beach has the romantic remoteness of feeling alone with that special person. Fish Hoek beach has a cozy atmosphere for long standing romantics but get off the beaten track with a visit to the beaches in the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Fisherman's Beach in Simon's Town or Danger Beach in St James.

Things for two to do include hiring a sea kayak and paddling to the quaint coves and bays of the Cape Point Route coastline; horseride on Noordhoek beach; hike to one of the ancient sacred sites; rent mountain or road bikes and peddle yourselves along winding roads and scenic paths; try scuba diving for an underwater romance or charter a fishing boat and try to land catch of the day because you already have your biggest catch beside you.
