Experience It
Inshore Charters
A normal inshore charter will depart from False Bay Yacht Club in Simon’s Town between 7am and 8am depending on the requests of the group, we then head off toward Cape Point where we have the best chance of finding various different species including… Yellowtail, Snoek and other reef fish.

Offshore Charters
The average offshore charter starts at around 6am or just before sunrise, the tuna grounds are situated approximately 25nm South West of Cape Point, it is for this reason that we try leave the harbour as early as possible so that we can have the maximum amount of time to try and catch a trophy fish.

Spearfishing Charters (Inshore and Offshore)
False Bay offers spectacular spearfishing and many a spearo has shot their personal best in our waters. Unfortunately the weather plays a much bigger role here than in conventional fishing so it helps if the charter has some flexibility on the day they wish to go out.

Crayfish Charters
The west-coast rock lobster “Crayfish” season is open from 15 November to 15 April each year and during this time with the right weather and current, you can almost be guaranteed to get your quota. 

Scenic & Eco Charters
False Bay has an overwhelming level of bio-diversity and can offer those interested in photography and nature the experience of a lifetime. A guest can encounter dolphins, whales, seals, sharks, vast numbers of birds and spectacular scenery. These charters can be enjoyed by the whole family and are both entertaining and educational.

Pelagic Birding Charters
The Cape waters hold large amounts of bait fish which attract a rich variety
of birdlife. Due to our proximity, we are able to easily reach the areas frequented by the pelagic birds and any birding enthusiast would be almost certain to increase their species count by accompanying us on a birding charter

Rates
Rates are from R 4,700 per boat for a half day charter.

Terms & Conditions
We have no minimum. On fishing trips we do take a maximum of 6 anglers per boat.

Cancellation policy
In the event of the charter not taking place due to weather conditions and an alternative date can not be accommodated the deposit will be refunded in full. In the event of the client cancelling the following will apply
24 hours cancellation -  no deposit refundable
48 hours cancellation - 75% of deposit refundable
Other   - 100% of deposit refundable
