Scenic Winelands Mountain Pass ride on a Trike Bike

Take a trip into the Cape Winelands on an imported state of the art Trike, the only one of it’s kind in South Africa! Travel over 3 Scenic Mountain Passes, visit the towns of Franschhoek and Stellenbosch and sample a wide variety of wines at 2 different wine estates.
Travel along the N2 to Somerset West, over the majestic Sir Lowry’s Pass, Grabouw, the scenic Franschoek Pass to Franschoek, Helshoogte Pass to historic Stellenbosch, for lunch and wine tasting at the Spier Wine Estate.
From there we head to Simonsig Wine estate for some more wine tasting, and then back home along the N1. Two wine tastings are included in the tour price.
The fertile green valleys of the Cape Winelands are surrounded by proud mountain ranges. Towns and villages have many historic homesteads and monuments, and every so often fruit orchards are to be seen, whose produce may be found in all corners of the world. It is the Mediterranean climate and winter rainfall of the south-western Cape that produces some of the best wines in the country.
The rich, fertile soils along the Breede River Valley and especially the areas of Somerset West, Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, have become world famous for their whites, reds, sherries, ports and brandies.
