Energize your staff with this interactive teambuilding to encourage initiative in this Forest Survivor Challenge. We use adventure activities to encourage interaction, highlight communication issues and create a morning of fun and excitement!
Location
This fun event takes in Cape Town's Tokai Forest, one of the many Table Mountain national parks forests. Here there is an extensive plantation of pine trees, eucalyptus trees, an indigenous forest at the Arboretum and plenty of wild Fynbos (bush).

Laughter is the Best Tool!!
The group will be divided into smaller teams that will compete against each other in a range of spirited events! We will start off with a stretch-aerobathon to set the mood, followed by a team face painting and HAKA- style war cry to get the competitive juices flowing!
Challenge & Initiative
The field events are a fun competitive formula that draws on the delegates’ capacity to interact, communicate, manage time, solve problems and work together as a team. All our activities are designed to utilize laughter as a means of bringing people together. These activities require no prior experience, fitness or training.
The teams will need to strategize the best method of completing the Supersize Sack Race, The Cosmic Flight, Caterpillar Walk and Trust Fall to finish first.
We will highlight the hilarity of communication breakdowns with Blind Soccer, Animal Noises and Blind Rope shapes. These activities all require an individual to rely on their team members instructions to complete the task.
Adventure Orienteering
Now that each team is functioning as a well oiled unit they will compete in an Adventure Orienteering exercise. The teams will follow clues that will send them navigating the surrounding area to find the pieces of a Giant puzzle. The first team to solve the Puzzle as well as complete the Spaghetti Tower, Woodcutters challenge and other activities will be the winner. Points are weighted for each activity so effective planning and teamwork is vital for this event.
We wrap the event up with an informal prize giving and overview of the morning’s antics! This programme is designed to be between two and four hours in duration. We can adapt it to meet your time and group dynamic requirements.
Cook Off! Challenge
Now that everyone has worked up a nice appetite after the morning’s activities, we will supply each team with ingredients for their final challenge. Teams will be responsible for the preparation of a “lekker” braai - meat/chicken (Halaal), salad’s and dessert, and will then be judged on who has prepared the best and most well presented meal.
