The Murder Mystery Challenge is different to other teambuilding because so often adults bring their corporate persona's to their teambuilds, and even though they're in a new setting ,office colleagues at other teambuilding events often still relate to each other in the same way. "You always treat your boss like your boss", except when your boss is dressed as 'Daisy de Melktert'. Then suddenly the dynamic changes and you see a hilarious new side of one another.

The concept
Eight characters are suspected of murdering a poor hapless soul and it is each team’s aim to prove themselves innocent by using their powers of deduction and correctly accusing another character of the murder.

The Action
The group will be broken into Eight Smaller Teams representing One Character.  Each team will receive a Mystery Solving Kit including an identifying Character Mask.  The scene will be set and in the following Four Rounds, each team must then follow the clues provided and further question the other Suspects to solve the murder. 
This can be done over a Lunch or Dinner or as a Stand Alone Event
 
The Facilitation
Our professional murder mystery hosts will immerse you in your dinner story. Your host will guide you through all the stages of the evening step by step; help with characters, clues and gameplay, and arouse your crowd. Your host will also take care of all the behind the scenes work too.

Taking out the (trailor) trash:  Koosie Pienaar, long-standing resident of Lekker Bly Caravan and Camping Resort in Brooklyn, Cape Town has been murdered. Koosie had invited you last Saturday to join him for a braai at his ‘plot.’ As usual, the Klippies and Cokes were flowing; a new batch of Umqombothi had just been brewed; the dominoes were being banged repeatedly onto the small side table and everyone was having a lekker time.  Then a horrific scream pierced the air and Koosie's body was discovered near the dustbins behind his trailer.  Expect seriously stereotypical South African characters, thrown together in a melting pot of boere-wors charm and chakalaka flavoured humour, as suspects become “ace detectives” in an effort to stay out of Polsmoor Correctional Facility

Event co-ordination includes the emailing of invitations, coordinating the reservations, table seating arrangements, character assignments, emailing character details before the event to all guests.  

Supply of necessary materials for the mystery event includes printing of name tags, table markers for the characters, clue booklet per character, and supply of a pen per guest.

Hosting service on the night of the murder mystery includes welcome guests at arrival, assistance in determining their seats at the venue, welcome and introduction to guests including overview of game play, relay instructions during the game at optimum time to open new clues as well as revealing of authors solution at the end of the game.
