Chase Around the Table Amazing Race
Cape Town - a city that is culturally rich and full of history. This adventure, based on The Amazing Race, will see teams explore the city’s highlights using your choice of transport - Cape Town’s unique Hop On Hop Off Topless Bus or chauffeur driven or self drive vehicles.
Energize your staff with an Interactive teambuilding Challenge. We use adventure activities to encourage interaction, highlight communication issues and create a morning of fun and excitement!

Pre-event & On the Day
3 days prior to the event the group will be divided into teams. The teams will be told their colour (shocking pink, red polka dots etc) and will be awarded points for the best dressed team. The teams will also have to create a team name and war cry. They will present these on the day.
On the Day, team will each receive a Race Kit containing a team passport and a race book.  The Teams will use the navigational clues to find the checkpoints situated around the route.

The Challenge
Teams will navigate their way through challenges, answering questions and solving riddles along the way. Laughter is the Best Tool!!  The Amazing Race will start off at the Waterfront, where teams will compete against each other in a
range of spirited events! We will start off with a stretch-aerobathon to set the mood, followed by a team face painting and HAKA- style war cry to get the competitive juices flowing!

Once these activities have been completed, the journey will begin!

The Route
The race book will guide each team to each checkpoint, where Facilitators will be waiting.
Some of these checkpoint and activities will include the following:

Victoria & Alfred Hotel
Blind Paddle on the Canals! Depend on your team mates to point you in the right direction by calling out instructions. Find the Knotted Gun Sculpture.

Cape Town CBD
Drumming at Greenmarket Square
Haggle with the flower sellers on Adderley Street for the biggest bunch of flowers you can get for the money provided in the kitty.
Follow the Blind Trail in the Company Gardens. Find the Marshall and complete The Dangling Doughnut Challenge.
Find a piece of the Berlin Wall located in St Georges Mall

Kirstenbosch Gardens
Find the Marshall to complete the FEAR FACTOR Eating Challenge!
Answer questions about Medicinal Plants

Hout Bay
Find the Marshall on the Beach and complete the Giant Puzzle.This is not as easy as it looks! The team who does this in the fastest time gets maximum points!

We will highlight the mishaps and action of the morning while showering the winning team with Praise and Glory!!
